About No Degree Career

A four-year degree is one way into a good career in the US, but it isn’t the only one. Every year, millions of people look for a faster, cheaper path and find advice that is vague, outdated, or written to sell them a program.

No Degree Career is a practical guide to those paths. For each profession we explain what the job is, what the realistic entry routes are, what it costs, how long it takes, and what the requirements are in your state.

Who runs it

I’m Hlib. I work at a job search platform, where I spend every day in data on job listings, hiring trends and what employers actually ask for. That’s why I started No Degree Career: good jobs that don’t require a four-year degree are easy to spot in that data, but clear advice on how to get them is much harder to find.

I’m not a lawyer or a career counselor, so the guides rely on official sources and state licensing pages, and I say where each number comes from.

How we work

We use official sources first, such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics and state licensing bodies, and we show where our numbers come from. Read our Editorial Policy.
